Conflict of Interest Disclosure Policy
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Evolutionary Research is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, objectivity, and academic integrity in the publication process. To support these values, all parties involved—authors, reviewers, and editors—are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the content, review, or outcome of a manuscript.

For Authors
Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships that may affect the objectivity, interpretation, or presentation of their work. Disclosures may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Financial interests: Including funding sources, grants, paid employment, stock ownership, honoraria, consulting fees, patents, or royalties related to the research or its potential outcomes.
  2. Personal relationships: That could affect data interpretation or reporting.
  3. Professional affiliations: Such as board memberships, advisory roles, or consultancy with institutions, companies, or organizations that may benefit from the research findings.

All potential conflicts must be declared at the time of submission, and a formal statement should be included within the manuscript. If there are no conflicts to declare, the authors should explicitly state:
The authors declare no conflict of interest.

For Reviewers
Reviewers must disclose any personal or professional circumstances that could compromise their impartiality when evaluating a manuscript. These may include:

  1. Personal or financial relationships with the authors.
  2. Active collaborations or competitive research interests.
  3. Affiliations with organizations involved in or impacted by the subject matter of the manuscript.

If a reviewer feels that a conflict may exist, they must immediately inform the editorial office and decline the review.

For Editors
Editors involved in manuscript handling must recuse themselves from decisions if any potential conflict of interest exists. This includes:

  1. Personal or professional ties to the authors.
  2. Financial or organizational links to the manuscript's topic.
  3. Prior involvement with the specific research discussed.

In such cases, the manuscript will be reassigned to an unbiased editor to ensure the integrity of the editorial process.

Managing Conflicts of Interest
The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Evolutionary Research follows the steps below to manage any identified conflicts:

  1. Transparency: Any disclosed conflicts will be acknowledged in the final publication to ensure openness.
  2. Reassignment: Manuscripts will be reassigned where necessary to avoid bias in review or editorial decisions.
  3. Ethical Oversight: The editorial board will assess reported conflicts to determine if additional action is required.

Failure to disclose a conflict of interest may lead to manuscript rejection or retraction. Upholding this policy is critical to ensuring the credibility, neutrality, and scientific value of the journal.

By committing to full disclosure, the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Evolutionary Research reinforces its mission to support ethical and unbiased scholarly contributions across diverse academic disciplines.
